Project 2604 serves as a startling departure from typical American school buildings.  As a wholly organic form, 2604 aims to use architecture to enliven and invoke the unimaginable essence of the young minds who cross its threshold to receive their early primary education.  

Via informal and intimate spaces for one-on-one instruction in lieu of the nineteenth century classroom or lecture hall concept, 2604 seeks to fix our nation's broken educational system through a new academic building typology, which in essence, must start by reinventing our concept, or more precisely, reframing our preconceived notions of what a school building should be.  In order to do this, we must start by first eliminating our nineteenth century modus of operandi in regards to designing and constructing academic buildings.
